The\u00a0 Deutsche Schule Seoul International (DSSI) was founded in 1976 and is the only Deutsche Auslandsschule in Korea.<\/p>\n

The DSSI offers to students aged 2-6 the possibility of visiting the Kindergarten at the end of which they can enroll in Elementary classes.\u00a0Students receive, after completing 9th grade, the “Certificate of Secondary Education” (“Hauptschulabschluss”) and after completing 10th grade the “Certificate of Higher Secondary Education” (“Realschulabschluss”). After 12 years,\u00a0 students gain access to the Deutschen Internationalen Abiturpr\u00fcfung (DIAP).<\/p>\n

At the moment, the school enrolls about 170 students taught by approximately 30 teachers.<\/p>\n

The school was awarded the titles of \u201cExzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule\u201d and “MINT freundliche Schule” due to its rich curriculum with a focus on science (mathematics, IT, science, engineering).<\/p>\n
